The Pause We Forgot observes a kind of neglected exhaustion: we think we are resting, but in fact we are still being fed and driven.

The candelabra and scented candles do not offer healing here but rather take the form of a cycle of exhaustion.
The installation builds a continuously functioning space with an infusion system, and viewers will sign a "permission to pause" before entering.
This is not a purchase or an experience, but an exercise in allowing oneself to stop.

True rest never comes from a product.
It begins when you say to yourself: now I can stop.
