COLD BABEL

The project explores how reptiles and humans might communicate and understand one another, highlighting the vast chasm between mammals and ectotherms. I sought to engage with reptiles and comprehend their world, ultimately borrowing the concept of the Tower of Babel to construct a labyrinthine tower. Structured according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs across distinct levels, it symbolises the immense difficulty of cross-species communication. Much like navigating a complex maze using incomprehensible buttons to guide the protagonist, the journey is arduous. Yet we shall ultimately reach the level closest to the heavens.
