Theatrocracy: Rehearsing Tragedia

Emerging from research into Ancient Greek Tragedy and contemporary politics, this experimental project reinterprets the Trojan War from multiple perspectives. Staging three embodiments of a single heroic figure, it incorporates live debate and audience participation to explore the fluidity of identity and the shifting nature of power and heroism. Integrating sound, costume, and stage design within a circular performance space, the work creates an environment where myth, humour, and critical reflection converge. Inviting audiences to think critically and cast their vote on the embodiment that resonates most, it transforms spectatorship into an act of dialogue, reflection, and reimagined narrative.
