but Non-Rooms

This project investigates how livestream selling constructs space through mechanisms rather than architecture.
Using colour blocks, discount language and repetitive rhythm, the work explores how attention becomes the true structure of a “sale room”.
A personal object—originally meaningful only to its owner—is transformed through a visual system of enlargement, collage and overlay. As it enters the sale logic, its meaning collapses and it becomes a surface used to build the room.
Across three forms—a screen room, a printed room and a composite digital room—the project shows how a room can appear anywhere, yet remain a non-room: a space produced not by walls, but by the mechanism that frames the viewer.
