Since the colonial era, sugar has been tied to capitalism. It offers pleasure but hides exploitation and exclusion. We may not crave sugar itself, but the remaining time, social hierarchy, and visibility it represents. White and orderly teeth mark class. Wealth maintains them, deprivation leaves traces. Sugar corrodes teeth and feeds the dental industry, forming an ironic loop. This project turns that loop into ritual. Guests wear ring-set teeth, toast with cups, and swallow teeth made of sugar, acrylic, bismuth, gallium–indium alloy, and silver. All melt into one hybrid tooth, revealing consumption as power’s fantasy.
