This project rethinks “pet-friendly housing” by placing animal behaviour at the centre of architectural design. Living with three Labradors and two cats, I observed how existing housing often fails to accommodate large pets, revealing a fundamentally human-centered approach. Through studying the movement, resting, climbing, and social behaviours of dogs and cats, the project translates animal behaviour into spatial form. Following a design logic of behaviour → form → space, sketches and models explore how movement patterns become structure and circulation. The final outcome is an apartment reshaped by animal behaviour, where pets are active participants in the creation of shared living space.
