This project examines aesthetic governance through the case study of Poundbury village. Within this space where aesthetics, norms and behaviour converge, it explores how architectural facades, planning documents and everyday practices collectively shape a “normalised appearance”, revealing design's soft power in forging civic identity. Potential approaches may incorporate installation art, moving images and graphic design works.
