When imagery transcends the boundaries of language, medium and cognition, its meaning is not simply conveyed. Every translation, every subtranslation, and every viewing by others is filtered, compressed and reshaped under the influence of a series of intangible "compilation logics".

Can we be aware of the "compilation logic" we are using?

The project transforms one-way and opaque "communication" into a reviewable "dialogue". Here, the "dissipation mechanism" of communication itself becomes the object of observation, inviting the viewers to reflect together: in the process of our understanding of the other, what is retained, what is filtered, and what new forms have we unconsciously created.
