A Utopia Under The Blanket

A Utopia Under the Blanket is an immersive healing installation inspired by childhood memories of hiding in corners or under blankets for comfort. It explores idealism’s dual nature—as both pressure and emotional protection—and turns it into a soft, participatory space. The installation invites visitors to slow down, rest, and reconnect with themselves through soft sculptural forms based on comforting blanket postures like sitting, lying, or curling up. With dim lighting, subtle fabric sounds, and a warm atmosphere, it becomes a small shelter offering safety, warmth, and a brief escape from the pressure to be “good enough.”
