This project explores the act of projection as a form of belief and reconstruction of belonging. Using lacquer which historically linked to Asian funerary and sacred objects , the work reinterprets the idea of a shrine as a psychological space for displaced emotions. Through sculptural and spatial arrangements, it examines how individuals externalise inner instability, turning ritual and materiality into tools for re-orientation and self-recognition.
