Being With explores the subtle ethics of touch between humans and nature. Through bodily experiments, the project investigates how “consent” can be perceived rather than expressed through language. Participants engage with trees—through gestures of embracing, touching, or simply remaining still—and these traces are recorded through tactile rubbings, drawings, sound, and video. The work becomes an archive of coexistence, revealing how art can serve as a space for listening, respect, and being-with the more-than-human world.
