immortality’s mirage

This project explores the placebo effect within contemporary healthcare and the blurred boundary between science and belief. Inspired by speculative design and pseudo-medical rituals, it investigates how sensory devices can simulate healing through suggestion and perception. Using elements such as airflow, light, vibration and biometric feedback, the work visualises invisible forces—breath, energy, faith—turning the act of “being treated” into an intimate dialogue between body and machine. Rather than offering real cure, the installation provokes reflection on how we construct trust, comfort and control in technological environments.
