Arc of Freedom explores the boundary between authority and expression through the symbolism of the semicircles in London's underground streets. As a movable and tactile device, the semi-circle becomes a free shape that can be placed in different urban Spaces. The use of different materials -wool, mirrors, projections, etc. -transformed it from a normative surface into a field of engagement. Each of these variations represents a different texture of freedom: visible, soft, reflective, or disappearing. It is not only a stage defined by the system, but also a public space reactivated.
