In East Asian societies, the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is regarded as one of the most complex power structures within the family. This project uses "film" and "dough" as visual metaphors to transform this relationship into a perceptible tension structure. Through social research and experimental creation, it explores the dual identities of women in the family system and how they are repeatedly shaped within the family system. The research eventually extends to brand conception, using "steamed buns" as a medium, attempting to find a space for understanding between softness and suppression, allowing female relationships to be reimagined and reconciled.
