I Am Here

"I Am Here" is a tangible response to the disenfranchised grief of pet bereavement. The project focuses on a 'haptic keepsake', a sensory anchor designed to provide a 'felt sense of presence'. It is not a digital replica, but a totem that responds to touch with abstract, rhythmic pulses and gentle light. This object is the centrepiece of a ritualistic workshop, where participants co-create a personalized shell—using materials like clay or wood—around a haptic hardware core. This process transforms private sorrow into a shared, tangible, and embodied ritual of remembrance.
