FORMULA is a speculative design project focused on future “symbiotic fungal medicines”. It uses the symbiotic and parasitic qualities of fungi as a model for thinking about posthuman bodies.

The work creates a bio-ethical space between the natural and the artificial, between healing and infection, to explore how humans and non-human life might co-create future medical systems.

Through this fictional medicine system, FORMULA invites viewers to reflect on how the ethical lines between human and non-human life might change in the future.
